MEF’s announcement to buyer of real properties

On May 03 2019, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (“MEF”) has issued an announcement on essential information of land lot and residence sale-purchase with an aim to facilitate the public to easily purchase the properties (land lot and residence) without an eventual risk​ before making any decision.

The essential information for the purchaser to get to know before making any decision on land lot and residence purchase is as below:

For Purchasing the Land Lot

  1. Landowner’s name in certificate of title (whether it is belong to land lot project developer or others);
  2. Certificate of title (whether there is any encumbrance or not);
  3. Land lot development permit issued by authorities or competency units (as stated in Prakas No. 087 ដ.ន.ស ប្រក/នឹក dated 11 May 2018 in relation with Land Development of Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction (“MLMUPC”);
  4. Property tax payment documents;
  5. Land plot splitting certificate; and
  6. Details of sale purchase agreement.

For Purchasing the Residence

  1. Construction permit (issued by MLMUPC or Municipal-Provincial Hall);
  2. Certificate of title (whether there is any encumbrance or not);
  3. Residence development license (issued by MEF);
  4. Property tax payment documents;
  5. Land plot splitting certificate; and
  6. Details of sale purchase agreement
