Quota Application Period Extended
The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (“MLVT”) on this 22 November 2019 has extended the application period for quota request for 2020. By law, employer who wants to employ foreign workers in Cambodia shall seek approval (“Quota”) from MLVT by the end of November every year. For 2020, since many owners or directors of enterprise/establishment are late, the application period is extended to the end of December 2019 instead. Failure to do apply for this within this period will lead to penalty of under Labour Law.
